HAIS

HAIS’ World Languages programme was founded on the following principles:

  • Teaching and promoting respect for other people and cultures;
  • Development of cognitive awareness of the interconnection between language and humanity;
  • Development of a wider world view, creating an adaptable and understanding mindset; and
  • Improvement of brain function and memory in many positive ways.

EAL provides enhanced opportunities for non-native English speakers wishing to further develop their ability to communicate confidently and effectively. Our EAL programme promotes active learning, develops thinking skills and encourages intellectual engagement. With our integrated teaching approach, students will further develop their social skills in English, as well as receive additional support in accessing the academic language of our international curriculum.
