HAIS

Bilingual Early Years

Play-Based and Inquiry-Based Learning

The Bilingual Early Years Programme offered at HAIS emphasises global perspectives while embracing Vietnamese values and culture.

Utilising dual language immersion, students are taught by two lead teachers in English and Vietnamese. Both educators apply a thematic learning approach using the Vietnamese MOET programme that supports the development of students’ numeracy and literacy skills.

Bilingual Early Year’s teachers are deeply committed to forging connections with the local Hoi An community and embracing Vietnamese traditions in the classroom.

HAIS recognises the importance of diverse representation in our Early Year’s sector and students in both the Bilingual and International programmes will play together at break times. This inclusive learning environment mirrors the real world and prepares our children as they grow and develop towards Primary school and beyond.
