Illinois Project Highlight: Selective Racking System by BHD Vietnam
BHD Vietnam Racking Factory recently completed a large-scale selective pallet racking installation for a warehouse in Illinois, supporting the client’s expanding logistics operations. The facility handles a wide range of fast-moving goods, requiring a system that prioritizes accessibility, durability, and warehouse safety.
The racking system features high-strength uprights paired with bright orange load beams, ensuring strong structural integrity and clear visibility throughout the storage area. Wire mesh decks were added across all beam levels to support non-palletized loads, enhance fire safety, and prevent items from falling—making this setup ideal for high-turnover environments.
To reinforce safety and reduce the risk of collision damage, BHD Vietnam supplied yellow steel barriers at the aisle ends and key upright positions. These protective elements play a crucial role in preventing forklift-related impact, safeguarding both workers and equipment, and extending the lifespan of the racking system.
The layout was optimized to balance density and accessibility, with clear aisle spacing and smooth traffic flow for efficient forklift movement.
